Mortgages, explained calmly

A clear path for buyers, including those coming from another country.

Five stages

  1. 1

    First conversation about your needs

We talk about your plans: the home you are looking for, your timing and your initial budget. No documents needed.

  2. 2

    Preliminary assessment

We draw a first picture of your situation to understand which routes are realistic and what to clarify before making an offer.

  3. 3

    Gathering and organising documents

We tell you which documents are needed and help you collect them in an orderly, complete way.

  4. 4

    Dealing with intermediaries

We support you in your dealings with the intermediaries and lenders involved, so you always know where things stand.

  5. 5

    Through to completion

We align the mortgage timeline with the purchase, up to the signing before the notary.

The service is handled by Alessandro Cavassi.

If you live abroad

  • Living abroad

Options depend on residence, type of income and each lender’s policies. We check them case by case, taking nothing for granted.

  • Documents from other countries

Some documents may need translation or additional steps. We tell you at the start, so you can plan ahead.

  • Tax code and bank account

An Italian tax code is required to buy; an Italian bank account is often useful for payments.

This page provides general information. We do not guarantee approval, loan-to-value ratios, rates or terms: the decision always rests with the lender.

Questions we often hear

Is the first conversation free?

Yes, the first conversation is free and without obligation.

Do I have to send documents to start?

No. Name and phone number are enough for the first contact. We tell you which documents are needed after the conversation.

Can you guarantee the mortgage?

No. Nobody can guarantee approval: the decision is the lender’s. We help you present a clear, complete application and understand early on which options are realistic.
